Health Freedom Alert!

Date: January 13, 2009

Recently, environmental groups and questionable "consumer advocacy" groups have joined hands to accelerate an ongoing campaign to have the EPA regulate ALL commercial forms of nanosilver, including colloidal silver, as a "pesticide."

One of these groups, the Center for Food Safety, is now urging their readers to send comments to the EPA supporting the "Petition for Rulemaking Requesting EPA Regulate Nanoscale Silver Products as Pesticides.

This petition seeks to have the government impose a broad prior restraint, blocking the marketing and sale of virtually every product made with nanotechnology, without regard to whether the product actually poses an actual threat to the environment, or to human health. For example, this broad ban would include silver hydrosol even though the nanoparticles involved are ones that have historically been present without any proof or evidence supporting that they cause illness or injury. If accepted and acted upon by the EPA, this petition would essentially allow the EPA to regulate colloidal silver out of existence, on the grounds that it could potentially cause harm to the environment.

Natural-Immunogenics Corp stands behind the pure quality and non-toxicity of its silver hydrosols and will submit its comments to the EPA. We urge the public, the industry, as well as all involved in the use of silver hydrosols to also contact the EPA with their comments before the March 20th deadline.
